Join local animal sanctuary Home for Life at Mall of America® for a week long celebration all about dogs! Activities include Home for Life dog visits, a Barnes and Noble® Spot the Dog appearance, and John Grogan appearance and book signing!

Stroll through an exhibit of  20 unique, artistic doghouses designed and constructed by collaborating local celebrities and architects, design firms, and artists. Dog houses will be on display at Mall of America and then auctioned off at the Home for Life "Wags to Whiskers" gala.

Home for Life is an expression of a new kind of animal shelter—the long-term animal sanctuary. They provide animals with loving care, a nurturing environment that is safe and stable, a place to belong... a home for life. Home for Life provides lifetime care for cats and dogs with special needs who cannot find a home, but who can still lead a quality life.
