Get ready for an exciting day of competition, community, and giving back! Join us for Pickleball with a Purpose, the first-ever pickleball tournament at Mall of America®, that will help to fight child hunger and support Every Meal in their mission to provide “good food” to children in need.
Presented by Thrivent®, and facilitated by Smash Park®, this event promises to be a fun-filled, action-packed day of pickleball, all for a great cause.
- Saturday, May 17 from 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. | Men’s Intermediate (3.0-4.0)
- Saturday, May 17 from 2 - 5:30 p.m. | Women’s Intermediate (3.0-4.0)
- Sunday, May 18 from 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. | Mixed Intermediate/Competitive (3.5+)
- Sunday, May 18 from 2 - 5:30 p.m. | Mixed Beginner/Intermediate (2.0-3.5)
Location: Huntington® Bank Rotunda
Registration Fee: $100 per team (Smash Park is generously donating all registration fees to Every Meal)
Why You Should Join:
Every point scored and every serve made at Pickleball with a Purpose brings us closer to ensuring that children in our community have consistent access to the meals they need to learn and grow. All proceeds from this event will directly benefit Every Meal, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting child hunger by providing nutritious, delicious, and relevant food to kids, especially over weekends and school breaks when they may not have access to regular meals.
How to Get Involved:
- Register to play here. Then be sure to invite your friends, family, and co-workers to cheer you on!
- Whether you're a seasoned player or just looking to have fun, there’s a place for you on the court. Be sure to note the four different tournament options for specific skill levels.
- Not into pickleball? You can still be a part of the cause by making a donation or enjoying the event as a spectator. Plus, anyone who makes a suggested donation of $50 between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on the event days (5/17+5/18) at Mall of America, will receive 2 Unlimited Ride Wristbands to Nickelodeon Universe. Space is limited, and wristbands are available while supplies last.
