Mall of America

BLOOMINGTON, MN— July 1, 2021

Today, Mall of America launches Holly Jolly July, a holiday themed summer celebration, in an effort to create a bit of summer holiday magic with a twist. The celebration will run July 1 through July 31 and will include flash sales, giveaways, ongoing entertainment, and festive décor.

“We recognize that many people weren’t able to celebrate their memorable holiday traditions in 2020,” said Jill Renslow, EVP of Business Development and Marketing for Mall of America. “Holly Jolly July is all about bringing holiday magic to life this summer through special deals that can only be found at Mall of America retailers, live music, events, and even showcasing some of our beloved holiday décor. We hope guests will enjoy this summer adventure offering as we look forward to an even bigger holiday season later this year!”

Throughout the month of July, Mall of America will feature flash sales only found at Mall of America retailers in addition to giveaways through Mall of America vending machines. The Mall will be decked out with festive décor donning the traditional 11-foot nutcrackers in their summer attire created by local designer Christopher Straub.  Vignettes will feature the nutcrackers roasting marshmallows over a faux fire, catching butterflies and pitching a giant-sized tent.

Guests will also enjoy ongoing events that will take place in the Rotunda on the Holly Jolly Summer stage including performances by the Holly Rocka Rollaz and sand sculptors.
