Mall of America announces 10 new tenants now open

 

BLOOMINGTON, MN— January 18, 2022

 

Mall of America, the nation’s largest retail and entertainment complex, is excited to announce 10 new brands now open for guests to shop, dine, and play at.

 

“We are thrilled to kick off the new year with several fresh, new brands for our guests to explore while visiting Mall of America,” said Jill Renslow, Executive Vice President of Business Development for Mall of America. “Whether you have visited us once or one hundred times, we can ensure there will always be something new to discover at Mall of America. Our sights are set on an exciting year with many more announcements and store openings on the horizon.”

 

NOW OPEN TENANTS

 

ALAND (Level 1, North)

ALAND is a fashion brand originating from Korea that features a variety of fashion cultures through their multi-brand store, featuring nearly 700 brands. The retailer offers everything from clothes, shoes, accessories and beauty products.

 

Arula (Level 1, South)

Arula was founded to raise the bar on the mid and plus size shopping experience and erase industry standards. From the creators behind the brand Altar’d State, Arula seeks to inspire and empower you through fashion and community while supporting a mission of standing out for good in the world.

 

Beard Papas (Level 3, North)

Since 1999, Beard Papa’s has been baking the world’s best cream puffs. Beginning in Japan, they have now expanded to over 400 stores in 15 countries. Guests can customize their cream puff treat by choosing from a variety of different shells and cream fillings.

 

Dauren Worldwide (Level 3, East)

Local founder, Brandon Barnes’ philosophy for DAUREN is “a group of people working together,” symbolizing the unifying embrace of all people and their humanity. Dauren’s line of clothing is a contemporary offering influenced by streetwear and inspired by the sport of rowing. Dauren Worldwide first opened in Community Commons at Mall of America in October 2020 and has grown into its own brick and mortar space.

 

Draper James (Level 1, South)

Founded by Reese Witherspoon, Draper James is a classic, American lifestyle brand inspired by Reese's Southern roots and named after her grandparents, who taught her everything she knows about gracious Southern living. Launched in May 2015, the collection consists of ready-to-wear, accessories and home accents — offering classic grace and charm, no matter where you live.

 

Duck Donuts (Level 3, West)

Duck Donuts specializes in warm, delicious, and made-to-order donuts. Starting with a vanilla cake donut, guests can create their own donut combination by choosing from a variety of coatings, toppings and drizzles, including traditional favorites such as chocolate icing with sprinkles and more adventurous creations such as maple icing with bacon.

 

Global Braids (Level 3, North)

Global Braids has been serving the twin cities since 2000. They specialize in natural hair and helping clients transition to natural hair products.

 

Juicebox (Level 3, North)

Locally owned, Juicebox serves up six different flavors of refreshing fruit beverages. The concept was founded by two mothers who wanted to create an opportunity for their children in college to earn some extra money during summer break and began creating and selling their handcrafted beverages at local events throughout the Twin Cities.

 

Ridemakerz (Level 1, East)

Rikemakerz invites guests, or “customizers”, into the ultimate car customizing experience where they can build one-of-a-kind Ridez (1:18 scale; about the size of a football). Between body styles and colors, rims and tires, lights and sounds, accessories and decals, there are more than 649 million possible combinations, not including individual decal placement.

 

The Neighborhood (Level 1, East)

The Neighborhood provides a locally influenced shopping experience for the customer with merchandise reflective of the different neighborhoods throughout Minneapolis/St. Paul. It proudly celebrates MSP’s rich culture, the Minnesotan lifestyle, and locally made food and gifts in addition to exclusively designed products.
