Mall of America® launches podcast So Much More featuring industry leaders, exciting brands, and unique storytelling

 

BLOOMINGTON, MN. — August 17, 2023 

Mall of America® has launched an industry-first podcast called So Much More to share unique insights into the largest retail and entertainment destination in the country. With more than 32 million annual visitors, one of the most frequently asked questions remains, “How does this place remain so successful?” So Much More sets out to answer that question and share the best kept secrets of the Mall.

So Much More is now available on all major podcast platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcast and Google, just in time to celebrate the Mall’s 31st birthday. The show debuted with six episodes featuring topics that include: meeting the four rotating hosts; the owner’s vision behind the Mall; safety as a priority; hosting major events including professional wrestling; an insider’s look at esports; and what it takes to run a city within a city. After the initial launch, new episodes will post every Wednesday.

Mall of America changed the face of retail and entertainment when it first opened in 1992, and this podcast continues that tradition of leading the industry and sharing our story. The podcast will feature real stories of how the Mall started and why it continues to thrive. Listeners will hear about challenges that have been faced along the way, and the lesson learned. It will feature guests and experts from all walks of life and business. Along the way, listeners will laugh, learn, and might even change the way they look at things.

The inaugural season of So Much More is presented by the Bloomington Convention and Visitors Bureau, a longtime partner of Mall of America and the official destination marketing organization for the city of Bloomington, Minnesota.
