Mall of America® prepares to welcome the loveable characters of the plush toy Squishable with the brand's first store in Minnesota
BLOOMINGTON, MN — June 7, 2023
Mall of America® is excited to welcome the popular children’s toy brand, Squishable, as the brand opens its first Minnesota location.
Squishable isn’t just popular with kids, the colorful plushies have collectors of all ages who love their unique looks and fun qualities. Designed for snuggling and cuddling, Squishables are made with the softest materials that are perfect for giving a big squeeze. Founded in 2007, the brand has since sold millions of plush toys to fans of all ages. Designs range from cats and dogs to mythical creatures, comfort foods like ice cream cones and pizza slices, and special edition or holiday themed characters. The options are endless!
“Squishable is such a fun addition to Mall of America,” said Heather Brechbill Swilley, Senior Vice President of Leasing at Mall of America. “The brand will attract a broad generation of shoppers because of their unique designs and creative and adorable branding.”
Everything at Squishable is centered around their community of dedicated fans, artists, and collectors. They pride themselves on listening to input and taking suggestions with their long-running contest, Project Open Squish, where fans can submit their very own Squishable design ideas. Many of these design submissions have since become some of their top sellers of all time. Aside from working with their community for product ideas, Squishable is on a mission to make the world a better and cuter place through their Squishable philanthropic efforts such as sponsoring artists, donating to various charity partners each month, and working with young entrepreneurs.
