5D Extreme takes you on a thrilling adventure with state-of-the-art, multi-sensory immersion! Shark Attack places you eye-to-eye with underwater prehistoric reptiles while standing on a motion platform, Mystery Mine takes you on an adventurous ride in a mine car for a memorable adrenaline rush and Pirate Jack takes you on a boat to search for treasure through the seas.

Mystery Mine
Experience a nail-biting, off-the-rails ride through ancient mining ruins and lush jungles! Dart through tunnels, narrowly escaping raging waters, spirits and flames in ghastly mine corridors. Ride in a state-of-the-art motion simulator that will make you feel like you are really coasting through an abandoned mine. Sensations of wind, heat and mist will accompany the 3D film experience to place riders right into the extreme thrills and simulated perils of the Mystery Mine.
Pirate Jack
Explore through turbulent waters, crystal mines and old shipwrecks on the search for treasure led by the ghost pirate Jack. Using state-of-the-art motion simulation, you'll feel like you're really on a boat-bound adventure as you dodge through pirate fights, raft between mysterious islands and make your way to the fabled treasure cove. Captain Jack makes use of wind, mist and a motion ride combined with a 3D show to create a 5D experience that jumps to life.
Shark Attack
Take a simulated elevator ride down to an underwater observation deck and see where we have been busy recreating genetically engineered prehistoric monsters. Experience the extreme thrill of being hunted as you come face to face with prehistoric creatures of the deep — including the infamous Megalodon! Shark Attack has riders stand on a special platform that shakes and jolts under their feet, timed to the 3D film. Wind, mist and the standing motion platform combine to deliver a fun 5D experience.

What is 5D?
5D is a 3D movie with moving seats/platform accompanied by various special effects such as wind, mist and heat.
Are these attractions included with the Nickelodeon Universe® Unlimited Ride Wristband?
Nickelodeon Universe Unlimited Ride Wristbands are not accepted for 5D Extreme admission. Guests who have an Unlimited Ride Wristband receive a $2 discount* on 5D Extreme admission. *Discount not valid with other offers.
Is there a height requirement?
All shows have a height requirement of 36" to watch, or 48" if watching alone
Is this a ride?
Mystery Mine + and Pirate Jack are motion-simulated roller coaster rides.
Does this go upside down?
None of our attractions go upside down at any point.
Are there rider health restrictions?
Pregnant guests or guests with neck problems, back problems, heart problems, recent surgery or any history of physical conditions that may be aggravated by these attractions are encouraged not to ride in the interest of their own health.
