Join us as Mall of America® presents an ongoing series featuring local musicians representing a wide variety of musical genres, showcasing the breadth of creativity and talent in our communities! Each Thursday in September, a Minnesota musician will perform for our guests live in the Huntington® Bank Rotunda from 5-6 p.m. This week, the artist is ZANDER.
Alek “ZANDER” Glauvitz is a singer-songwriter, performer, manager + event planner based in Saint Paul, MN. He plays lead guitar for Russ Parrish + The Lone Oaks, a Nashville based Country/Rock band, manages + plays lead guitar for Clayton Ryan, a MN based Country/Western/Folk artist, writes + performs with his wife as Beyond The Trees Music, plays solo under the moniker ZANDER + puts on events around the Midwest with his company, Coffee Break Entertainment.
With over 1,000 shows under his belt since 2008, ZANDER brings a friendly, homegrown experience to the stage + prides himself in his high-energy performance that has led to folks telling him he is “one of the most entertaining and friendly acts” they’ve ever seen.
