Mall of America® Itineraries
Whether you’re visiting Mall of America for the very first time or you’ve been coming here since Day One, we wanted to share a few insider tips and can’t-miss moments to make your Spring Break visit even better. We explored this 5.6-million-square-foot building, connected with team members across the property, and even tapped into some of our most passionate MOA® fans to bring ideas that will help you get the most out of your time here.
Before you even walk through our front doors, be sure to check out mallofamerica.com/spring for seasonal events, special offers, and limited-time experiences. Don’t forget to download the official Mall of America app! It’s the easiest way to navigate the building, find stores and attractions, and stay up to date on everything happening during your visit.
If your schedule allows, mornings and weekdays are often the most relaxed times to explore. You’ll find shorter lines at attractions, easier restaurant seating, and a more leisurely pace overall. That said, there is great energy here all day long, it just depends on what kind of experience you’re looking for.
Pro Tip: If you’re driving, park in the North surface lot next to IKEA facing the Mall. It’s easy to access, usually less stressful than the ramps during busy times, and the walk into the building is part of the experience. You’ll pass our iconic star logo (perfect photo opportunity), and when you enter through the North Atrium, you get one of the most impressive first views of Nickelodeon Universe®. It’s one of those “wow, I’m really here” moments.
Our Guest Services locations are there to help make your visit easier. Whether you need directions, stroller or wheelchair rentals, restaurant suggestions, or help locating a store, our team members genuinely love helping guests have a great day.
Quick Tip: Trouble finding your favorite spot? Check out our easy-to-use Digital Directories, available throughout the Mall!
Whether you’re visiting for a few hours or a multi-day adventure, wear comfortable walking shoes and relaxed clothing…while still looking fabulous, of course. You’ll likely walk more than you expect. And if you realize you need better walking gear or a new outfit, you are quite literally in the perfect place.
One last Minnesota reality check: spring weather here can be unpredictable. It might be sunny and 60 degrees, or snowing sideways. The good news is once you’re inside the Mall, the temperature is always 70 degrees and sunny. Another reason people love visiting this time of year.
Above all else: stay hydrated, take breaks when you need them, and don’t forget to share your adventures with us on social media. We love seeing your memories come to life!
