Mall of America® will soon add Roni's Mac Bar, "the viral mac and cheese place," for first Minnesota location

Mall of America® announces Roni’s Mac Bar, the wildly popular, customizable mac and cheese restaurant with a strong social media presence, is bringing its first-to-market location to MOA later this year.
Roni’s Mac Bar has taken comfort food to the next level with its signature build-your-own concept. Customers can fully customize their bowls of gooey, cheesy goodness by choosing from a wide variety of cheeses, meats, toppings, and sauces offering countless possible combinations! It doesn’t stop there; the menu also features rich, customizable grilled cheese sandwiches that have quickly become a fan favorite. Whether you like it simple or loaded with toppings, Roni’s Mac Bar is the perfect stop for a quick, satisfying meal that’s made just the way you like it.
Known as “the viral mac and cheese place,” Roni’s Mac Bar has become a social media sensation, thanks to its visually stunning, cheese-loaded dishes and enthusiastic fanbase. With over 900,000 fans on TikTok alone, the brand has become a viral standout, blending crave-worthy food content with clever, trend-driven videos that tap into pop culture and keep consumers coming back for more.

Founded in 2022 in Waco, Texas, the fast-casual dining brand has recently began expanding through franchise openings across the U.S., including recent openings in Utah, New Mexico, Alabama, Missouri, Iowa, and next up, Minnesota. The Mall of America location will be operated by Minnesota born-and-raised Sam Danna and the Danna Family.
“When our family started researching spots for the first Roni’s Mac Bar location in Minnesota, Mall of America was an obvious choice,” said Sam Danna, Roni’s Mac Bar Francise Owner. “As a local, it is a staple for Minnesota residents.
