Mall of America® to welcome Giordano's, the beloved Chicago deep-dish destination

The legendary cheese pull makes its debut this coming spring

BLOOMINGTON, MN — October 20, 2025

Mall of America® is adding a slice of Chicago tradition with the upcoming opening of Giordano’s, the iconic deep-dish pizza restaurant, later this year. A true Midwest icon, Giordano’s has been delighting guests for more than five decades with its handcrafted stuffed pizzas, known for their buttery crust, slow-baked layers, and signature cheese pull made from Wisconsin-crafted cheese created exclusively for the brand.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2024, Giordano’s remains rooted in its Chicago heritage while thoughtfully expanding across the country. The menu goes beyond its iconic deep-dish pizza to feature a full lineup of Italian-inspired classics including pastas, salads, sandwiches, and appetizers, all crafted with the same attention to quality that has defined the brand since its founding. Mall of America will be Giordano’s second location in Minnesota, joining its Richfield restaurant, bringing an authentic taste of Chicago to one of the nation’s most visited destinations.
