Mall of America® is set to introduce Studs, the style-forward ear-piercing brand, for its Minnesota debut

The modern, curated, needle-only piercing experience arrives summer 2026

BLOOMINGTON, MN — February 24, 2026

Mall of America® is excited to announce the upcoming opening of Studs, the modern ear-piercing destination reimagining the piercing experience for today’s Gen Z and millennial consumers. Marking the brand’s first-ever location in Minnesota, Studs offers a safe, precise, and elevated approach to ear-piercing by combining expert technique and personalized styling in a fun and welcoming environment.

Founded in 2019, Studs was created with the mission to modernize ear-piercing by connecting piercing, aftercare, and jewelry shopping into one seamless experience. The Mall of America location will celebrate the brand’s 40th studio nationwide, a milestone moment for Studs. By blending the art and science of personalized piercings with expertly curated stacking, Studs empowers customers to express their individuality through thoughtfully designed Earscapes®.

Every piercing at Studs is done by a specially trained expert, so guests can feel confident they’re in good hands. The team focuses on precision and smooth healing by always using single-use, sterilized needles, and never piercing guns. Each appointment includes a complimentary consultation, where piercers help map out the perfect placements and jewelry to complement your unique ear anatomy and personal style. From classic lobes and stacked lobes to helix, rook, daith, conch, tragus, and more, there are plenty of ways to create a one-of-a-kind look.

Beyond piercing jewelry, Studs offers a wide assortment of mix-and-match earrings so guests can build, customize, and refresh their Earscape® any time.

Mall of America guests will be able to book piercing appointments in advance at studs.com or visit the studio for walk-in availability. Guests are also welcome to shop Studs’ curated earring assortment in-store at any time with no appointment required.
